The Bloom Experience

Bloom is intentionally designed to be a small, relationship-centered environment. Beginning in Fall 2026, Bloom Academy will serve elementary and middle school aged children.

Learning at Bloom is individualized and mastery-based, with authentic learning experiences that support academic, social, and personal growth. Bloom Academy is housed in a student-friendly facility thoughtfully designed to support collaboration, creativity, and connection. Located at 2109 Cornerstone Drive in Lexington, Kentucky, the space includes a half-acre outdoor area for play, gardening, and learning; 2.5 acres of natural outdoor space; a learning kitchen; flexible gathering areas; and calm, quiet spaces that support focus, self-regulation, and personalized learning.

Bloom Academy grew out of the same heart and vision behind The Bright Spot—a belief that children thrive when they feel connected and supported in a joyful, welcoming community. Bloom was created to be a thoughtful learning environment with personalized, authentic learning experiences and a strong focus on social and personal growth. At its core, Bloom is grounded in relationships, curiosity, creativity, and a deep sense of belonging—at Bloom and beyond.
