At Bloom, we provide a mastery-based, experiential approach to learning. Young children naturally bring curiosity and a desire to learn, and our goal is to nurture that curiosity while helping it grow. By combining meaningful and engaging learning experiences with a strong, supportive community, we foster a lasting love of learning to help students thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Class sizes at Bloom are intentionally small and designed to stay that way. Because our individualized, mastery-based approach moves beyond traditional classroom structures, the student-to-teacher ratio best reflects the learning experience we provide.
Customized learning requires time, attention, and flexibility, and small class sizes allow teachers to truly know each child and respond as they grow. This approach allows us to thoughtfully support each student’s academic, social, and emotional needs.
-
Bloom is often a strong fit for students seeking something different from a traditional school setting. We welcome learners with a wide range of strengths, interests, and learning profiles and take a strengths-based approach to supporting each child. Our program is best suited for students who are able to be successful within our program design and staffing model without the need for intensive one-to-one medical, therapeutic, behavioral, or highly specialized intervention.
We view admissions as a collaborative, relationship-centered process. We encourage families to connect with us and visit campus, as experiencing Bloom firsthand is the best way to determine fit. Together, we can explore whether our environment aligns with your child’s strengths, needs, and goals.

Students enjoy an hour and a half of outdoor play each day at Bloom Academy.
The schedule includes Play Into the Day (30 minutes each morning), Play Out of the Day (30 minutes at the end of the day), and 60 minutes of lunch and play in the middle of the day—all of which offer opportunities for outdoor play.
Our three-acre campus serves as an extension of the classroom, creating space for movement, learning, exploration, and fresh air. We believe time outdoors is an essential part of each child’s day, so students don their weather appropriate gear and head outside whatever the weather, as long as conditions allow safe and joyful play.
